Installation order

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever figured out what the order of the upgrades should be?  I have the following:

Operation Flashpoint:  Cold War Crisis (Original US Version)

Operation Flashpoint:  Gold Upgrade

Operation Flashpoint:  Resistance

I had to do a clean install of my operating system.  So far I've installed all three of the disks above in the order listed.  I'm trying to figure out exactly what I need to get the latest version of everything (except the server, which is obvious).  My source for upgrades is:

http://www.flashpoint1985.com/download/index3.html

I believe I need to run these files in the order listed:

Red Hammer 1.90/1.91 Compatibility patch

Resistance patch (1.91)

Is this correct?  Also I do not know if I need to run this update:

Campaign 1985 update (1.90/1.91)

If I do need to run this update, where does it fit it in terms of the files listed above, that is, when should this update be run?  If anyone has any clue here I'd very much appreciate the feedback.  Thanks.

Actually I did, and that's how I got the information above. However, I've still never seen anything definitive, and I couldn't find anything on the 1985 update issue.

Had the same packaging, as i bought the 3 games separatly as soon as they came out.

I installed first patch 1.46 for 1985 then 1.91 for resistance and finally 1.91 compatibility for red hammer

I tried to install 1.90 compatibility for 1985 but it corrupted my campaign file and i had to reinstall the campaign from original CD

(the patch said it was corrupted and i had to download it again but i did thrice with the same results)

Well for now on, everything works fine (God help us all)
