Scripted waypoint...

We all knows about waypoints in operation flashpoint...

Move

Get In

Get Out

Seek and destroy

and so on....

I've nearly learned to use all of them but there is one left..

Move

Get In

Scripted <==== THIS ONE confused.gif

Get Out

What is this for???

For a while, I wasn't sure, but I now know.

When a unit reaches this waypoint, it will activate a script (which is entered by you in the 'On Activation' field). So you could have a soldier walk to a waypoint, and once he reaches it, a script would happen... like, for example, an enemy tank force would move and attack certain targets. It's just another way to activate scripts... smile.gif

This explanation is correct. Moreover, waypoint is not considered to be completed until the script finished.

I think if you do not undestand what it does, then you probably do not need to use it. wink.gif (No pun intended.)

It does nothing that could not be done by other means.
