dgrrr 0 Posted April 24, 2003 I've had Resistance installed for months.  I haven't installed or uninstalled anything having to do with Op Flashpoint recently, although I have installed and unistnalled other games. For some reason, abokut a week ago, when I run OpFlash (orig or resistance exec), It won't let me switch back to Desktop. Or rather, the OpFlash image won't get out of the way... What I mean is -- when I hit Alt-Tab, there IS a change -- I can tell that another program is there becuase my cursor changes accordingly when I move it around the screen -- but the rest of the screen is stuck with the OpFlash image. And  then if I hit Alt-Tab enuf times to return me to OpFlash (Or, conversely, hit Shift-Alt-Tab to "back up" to OpFlash), then I WILL see the regular desktop or last program, for a second, then it returns to OpFlash. NE1 know why this would happen? thx!
Mister Frag 0 Posted April 24, 2003 Did you update your video drivers or install DX9?
blackdog~ 0 Posted April 24, 2003 You have the same colour depth and same desktop resolution as in game (ie ingame 1024x768, 32bit desktop is 1024x768, 32bit) try changing the colour depth on either your desktop or in the game, or the resolution then all should be well. Alternatively, if you like the resolution it is set at (I like mine set at 1280x1024, same as my desktop, its nice and crisp ) you can do ALT+TAB, ALT+L (takes you to the Windows XP login screen), click your username, and then viola your at the desktop. You get used to it eventually
