Iraqi t62

There's a difference between being able to ford and being amphibious : fording is crossing shallow parts of waterways (less than about 1m deep) using wheels/tracks and being amphibious is being able to manoeuvre in water (no matter what depth) with the aid of water jets or propellers, etc...(the vehicle is essentially a boat when it is "being" amphibious) smile.gif

It can take over 8 hours to install the Snorkel Kit. Unless you have an action that speeds up the game until 8 hours pass when you enable the "snorkel" feature, it would be pretty unrealistic.<span id='postcolor'>

Great then NO snorkel kit<span id='postcolor'>

Did I say that?confused.gifcrazy.gif<span id='postcolor'>

No but you guys want a realistic add-on right smile.gif ? Unless you want me to put it for 7 hours ...<span id='postcolor'>

In the Iraqi desert, I don't think there'll be much call for it. If you want to do the definitive T62, then play on, mate. smile.gif

But when you're trying to portray the whole of GW1, I think you can safely leave such details to others. For your Mod, I humbly suggest you stay in theatre, or you'll be nitpicking forever.

Salute!

beware of saying such things. BIS, feared of the fact that it could loss half of the gamers because of no ashtray in T-62 addons (smoking gamers) can ban your account... tounge.gif

Hmmm I can't find a picture of a T-62 with an Amphibious Kit installed. I keep getting pictures of Type59's, T-64's and some blown up T-62's. God some people just don't know how to lable their pic's.

um... who here is going to make a mission where a damn tank floats...looks good...yes tanks do cross under water but why waist time doing it if you have bridge laying kit with you...hidden idea...textures are a bit bland...but that will do...pig...its from a movie...go away...now...good

FYI while the snorkle kit is installed the tank can not fire or rotate the turret,

While it would be a case of "whoa, neat" after the lack of usefullness was discovered it would be a case of "whoa, delete"

I wouldn't waste resources on it.

http://www.ifrance.com/ArmyRec...._32.jpg

Isnt it a T62 that is in the water tounge.gif<span id='postcolor'>

Err sorry to poitn this out but that picture actaully says in the TOP LEFT.

T-62 can deep ford with the aid of a schnorkel.

That sort of answers this well and truely.

Seems to be a mis-interpretation of the picture, and soemone didnt read the text in the picture either...

A T62 will fit in with OFP2 which may be handy, pity your pictures are down as I cant see them.
