DeZzErX 0 Posted April 19, 2003 Hi, I just downloaded the new driver for my Kyro2 video card and when i want to play ofp now i get the following error: Cannot create 3D device: Adapter 0(3D Prophet 4500) Fullscreen Resolution 1024x768, format X8R8G8B8/D24X4S4, refresh 75hz Error E_OUTOFMEMORY System specs: AMD athlon 1333mhz, 256 mb RAM, Kyro 2 64mb, Soundblaster PCI 128 Thx allot in advance Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Mister Frag 0 Posted April 19, 2003 Can you complete all the tests in the Video tab of the DirectX diagnostics (DXDIAG.EXE)? Have you tried "Autodetect" in the OFP Preferences program? The new driver may not support the same combinations of screen resolution, color depth, and refresh rate. You could also try editing your Flashpoint.cfg file using Notepad and changing refresh="75"; to refresh="0"; to use the default refresh rate that the card and DirectX want to use.
