Modern desert add-ons?

Recommended Posts

Hi

This has probably been asked before. I have a few modern desert add-ons that I stumbled uppon. Like the MAF M1 Abrams. Great skin, so much clarity to the textures. Now I am looking for a Desert Bradley and anything else that might appeal to a modern desert campaign and missions. I was aslo wondering if there are any Iraqi desert troop for download somewhere.

Can anyone help?

Thanks in advance

Gian

with MAF quality textures, high quality, bug free models, and is accessable to all users? (250mb aint gonna be downloaded by the 56k'ers - tbh... i was really excited about the OPGWC mod... until you guys announced the filesize...)

We are trying get some ways of making it more accessable to 56k'ers. Can't promise anything yet, but believe me, we are thinking about how to distribute it better. Hopefully we can come up with a few things. smile.gif

I was on 56k myself when the demo came out....I had to download it too! 11hours total time, but I used GetRight or DAP, I can't remember which. But it's not hard to do....and the full mod will hopefully be worth it.

The main reason for the file size was our version of the 100mb file Data.pbo. About 300 files were altered in there for the demo, and the full mod may get up to around 500 or so (who knows). So that's why the size. The rest is all the bits and pieces.

And yes..the demo was rushed, and not as polished as it could have been. But it's a good start, and in the 5 months since that was released (it's been a while now) we have done a lot of work. It's actually possible from our point of view to see how the whole thing might fit together...it's still a good distance away, but we have filled in quite a few of the holes in the Jigsaw puzzle, if you follow me biggrin.gif

Anyway, this isn't about mods, it's about addons, and we have plenty of those available for seperate download. wink.gif

It sounds like a project for me to construct a REAL Iraq pack. I'm talking quality. I can do it. It can be done. I got BAS's email. We'll see what happens.
