caleb 0 Posted March 30, 2003 To learn from the pro, I have downloaded two versions of Dkm cz 2000 (the regular version and the resistance muzzle flash fix), I have unpbo them and checked the cpp files and models in 02 and I have'n t found any diference although the regular version has the muzzle flash bug and the fixed one have not. So how do you fix this bug? It's kinda black magic for me.
caleb 0 Posted March 30, 2003 1) Sorry about replying to my own post but i have discovered some things. 2) I have found that you have to add to your cpp file: class CfgModels { class default {}; class Weapon: default {}; class yourP3dmodelname : Weapon {}; }; . Now the muzzle flash display only when you fire your weapon but where is always the shadow of the muzzle flash on the ground, how do you fix that issue? scousejedi 0 Posted March 30, 2003 Also, and this might sound stupid..... While you are editing in O2 using the OFP:CWC disk and then checking your model remember to run Res (ie change disk) otherwise you will waste hours trying to find out the fault as cfgModels will crash CWC. I suppose I should have set requiredpatch to 1.75 but doing things properly first time is not my style. Mind you, maybe Im the only stupid person here. Gummi 0 Posted March 31, 2003 If your using the lodnoshadow thing then never use that in the highest or the 2 highest resolution LODs. I think that should get the shadow flash away.
