OxPecker 0 Posted March 27, 2003 Does anyone know where to find OFP:R compliant versions of desert infantry for East, West and/or Resistance? I am currently using the ones that come with STT Desert island, but they have the invisible pistol bug. Has anyone updated these for OFP:R, or anyone know any other good desert troops? That thread is about modern (i.e. 2003) troops, I am looking for 1985 ones like in the campaign 2. That thread is specifically about US troops, I'm looking for all three sides 3. MintyBoy 0 Posted March 28, 2003 Don't know if it's any use, but Anmac has some (west) desert troopers for 1.75. They're Aussies, so I don't know how good they would be for you. SDOC/UCE's Russian Federation Infantry are really sweet. They even use Kegetys RPG7 as standard. Grab 'em from Flashpoint.org. Dunno if they're accurate to the 80s though.. Shashman 0 Posted March 28, 2003 Hmmm...I have been using the STT desert infantry for quite a while, and I am on 1.91, and I haven't noticed this problem you are having with them They're not very good, but I use them to cut down on the amount of addons needed when I make desert missions as the infantry come bundled with the island which is good.
