benu 1 Posted April 4, 2003 H-Milch, i connected with your xml to my linux server (1.91c) and had no crash happening. I just changed one line, the id and name line of the first player to match my id and nickname. So it seems not to be 100% reproducable...
H-Milch1 0 Posted April 5, 2003 HI! Yes it is not crashing all server... Our server are now working with this XML. Don't ask me why Other servers are still crashing, when connecting with this XML... benu 1 Posted April 5, 2003 How do you run your server, you mentioned something about changing the way the server was started? Mine is run in a screen session where a wrapper script is running which restarts the server, creates and rotates logfiles and so on. Something like this: </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> screen -m -d -S ofp /path/to/ofp/wrapper.sh <span id='postcolor'> The server is just started with: </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE"> ./server -config=$OCONF &> $LOGDIR/$BASELOG <span id='postcolor'> No nohup or ampersand. Guess the line does not mean much without the value of those variables though
