LizardX 0 Posted March 19, 2003 I don't know if someone had already written about this: we can use sliding animations (like the canopy of an A-6 or Spitfire or Buccaneer (I'm working on), or the barrel of a cannon when it fires, or a lot of other things) if we use a distant axis and a very small rotation degree. If it was well-known, sorry for wasting your time.
AXE 0 Posted March 19, 2003 It is well know, but thats OK. BTW I have these awsome blueprints of the Buccaneer that might help you out. It has everything you'll need, including weapon loadouts. http://www.kamodder.com/~minbari_capt/Buccanierspec.zip
LizardX 0 Posted March 19, 2003 Hehe, that's about the Big Revolution! I'd better stay in the adult movie business...:) Thanks for the zip. Btw, still no possibilty then "rotation"?
Jimboh 0 Posted March 20, 2003 YES it is VERY WELL KNOWN - ever since Oxygen came out... One thing I would point out is that O2 has a limit on the distance of vertices, and also these sliding animations would only look good if being applied to small objects. Good Luck!
