waffendennis 0 Posted March 20, 2003 Well the plane is very great for a Beta version and i hope that yuo compleet it and bring more texture version with more load outs out and more stuff ( scripts like burning engine etc etc etc ) but evry WW1 or WW2 plane that is Fighter ( except for the C47 Skytrain Beat from Mars911 ) is to hard to fly for me i dont know wy i am suck ass with it but if it is a reallistic handel i am glad i dont was a Fighter pilot in the WW1/WW2 because then i will crash only with the takeoff but i can fly just 1min or shorter with it and then the plane looses it speed and falls to the ground ( i have it with all those planes ) and with the normal planes from this time i dont have any problems so does any 1 else have this problem to or am i the only Stunt crash pilot with WW1/WW2 planes? I think what may be happening is you may be taking off too early..... The Corsair and as a general rule that alot of small planes have a takeoff speed of around 125 kph, so while taxiing on the ground,you want to get close to that before trying to lift off,otherwise it wont have enough speed to stay in the air Because its stall speed is also around 125kph, so if your speed is low in the air,you have to never let off the throttle and keep your nose down a little,sometimes almost crashing,until you have enough speed to ascend,sometimes its habit to just keep pulling back on the stick (or whatever you use) but if the speed drops to around 125 ,you will start dropping Hope that helps, and to stay on topic, work continues on the Corsair and I joined WW2EC and am starting a "War In The Pacific " mod Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Guest BratZ Posted April 7, 2003 Just to inform you that much progress has happened on the Corsair and its nearing what I call "Pre-Final Beta" stage. This addon may be beta for a while, for a few reasons: I will probably always be changing/working on it I have no default pilot yet As I am releasing at least 3 versions of the Corsair along with a Beta Zero to shoot at !! Guest BratZ Posted April 7, 2003 I may do a Spitfire or Hurricane. What do you mean TooTall ...a speed eventhandler? Currently my wings fold by useraction , but I do need to prevent people trying to lift off with the wings folded I was thinking either: 1.Warnings and buzzers if you taxi too fast with wings folded and maybe even a develocity if you try to lift off. 2.
