TeTeT 1520 Posted April 3, 2023 Unsung 3.0 India has arrived! With a focus on aircraft, the latest installment of Unsung improves and adds more planes. With the development focus shifting to Unsung Redux, more stuff than ever before was ported from Unsung Redux to Unsung in this release. We welcome improvements to A-3 and A-6, the KA-6 tanker variant, a new skin for the C-130, the armed CH-46 variant, the B-52 strategic bomber, the AC-47 Flare Ship, and the A-37 Dragonfly from Unsung Redux! The F-111 got a new section, "tailDecal", that adjusts the default lightning bolt on the skin. For the A-4 the ejection seat back texture was fixed. The distance lods of the A-1 and A-4 were reworked and provide more details on a far distance now. The config of the A-6 Intruder was altered to allow smoother landing experiences with the autopilot on carriers. The CH-46 crew was made vulnerable to enemy fire. Once again the pilot helmets were fixed, they are no longer partially invisible. The SAR function now sends the rescue helicopter away and despawns it after 3km. The combat support radio was often not able to detect the target when calling in a CAS or Napalm strike. This has been made more robust, now units can be targeted more easily. Some experimental texture sets made its way to the B-52 and AC-47 planes. Please be aware that the models are aged and the textures are not top notch. The miniguns on the AC-47 Flare Ship are hidden now. Another new script using the text on textures capability of Arma 3 2.12 is presenting pilot names on the A-4 and A-7 aircraft. If this becomes a popular feature we might fit it to other planes as well. Enjoy the update!
