Let a trigger activate when a door/gate opens

Hi guys,

 

I want a trigger to be activated when the following happens:

 

Gate1 animate ["Door_1_rot", 1] (The Gate opens)
 

I want to use this on a waypoint so that the AI automatically drives inside a checkpoint as soon as the gate opens.

 

I am new to editing and scripting and i have no idea. Please help me guys 🙂

Heres an idea along the same lines if your interested:

choose what fence or gate you want, and then setup your waypoints for your ai driver.

      When the driver enters the trigger of the gate, the gate will open automatically, just be sure

that in the trigger for the gate, you define who (faction side) will be entering the trigger.
