The starting player cant move in my mission it happened quite awhile ago and I'm not sure why. All other playable chracters can function normally but which ever unit I pick as the player is stuck in place. Hello, have you looked at your rpt when the issue occurred?

 

Be sure to check there first  ----> C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Arma 3

 

If your not sure what to look for or what your looking at then the rpt is a log file, it will be a notepad doc, open it

copy all of it, then paste it here ----> https://justpaste.it/

save and publish and then paste the link in your reply.

 

My guess is either a mod conflict, or issue with a mod, unbound control, and or lag cant say.

RPT should give some clues, but be sure to uncheck the [ ] no logs box in your

advanced parameters tab in the Arma 3 launcher to have the logs on.

To many mods my dude, the old saying applies here  "Dont put all your eggs in one basket"

 

I would suggest creating mod presets in the arma 3 launcher based on what you plan to play.

I'd also suggest choosing one mod to play with for weapons and gear, lose all the gameplay mods which is the smoke, stamina, ect,.

and test with half of what you got if not less.

 

Less is more.

I don't understand though there is only four dependicies none of my other mods are in the mission

Ok, so based on the mod requirements on the workshop page, theres something with one of those mods that

may be conflicting or something else, have you tried running those mods on a blank map

like VR with a player and do you get the same issue?

   Does the issue occur with no mods, the vanilla game?

 

Outside of mods for your mission, any codes, or scripts your using as the rpt isn't exactly reflecting what the mission

is requiring, you have a few more things.

 

I see in the rpt you have 2 controllers:

Joystick: Controller (Xbox One For Windows)
Joystick: Logitech Extreme 3D Pro USB

 

Were you using those when in your last attempt to try to move?

 

Make sure you are running the game as administrator as well.

Also verify the integrity of you cache, which will make sure something isn't corrupt in your game, maybe do that first

and then test without mods to be sure its not the vanilla game, test on a blank map, not your mission.

it only happens whit this mission in paticular any mission I've made since it hasn't happened. I always have th controllers pluged in and when I make new missions it's not a problem. I'll try your other tips and see but I doubt it'll make a difference but I appreciate the help

@Solarcode red Make sure each player character has simulation enabled. My guess is they all have their simulation disabled. If not, make sure the mission wasn't made in the "Intro" phase of the mission, that was a problem for multiplayer missions I've made in the past.
