Question: How do I get an AI driver to ignore player's WASD etc inputs?

I have the player riding shotgun and I don't want any inputs to interfere with what I have. I have the vehicle locked etc and the player is not grouped with the driver.

You could say I simply want to disable the commander function for the player.

vehicle player setEffectiveCommander driver vehicle player;

should work once on board.
