-onic 0 Posted February 9, 2003 Hi I was playing in a MP league match game lately and I came across this problem - I lost the ability to shoulder AA and AT weapons in the last half maybe of the game playing as a US soldier (not medic)? Also I seemed to have lost my binos - so i approached 2 different dead body and took both strela and stinger tubes but both times the same problem occured which was i did not have the option to shoulder the weapon (as a note I did not find any issues when using a Strela while I played as a Soviet soldier in a preceding game), my OFP is not buggy ?- I spoke with the League (good guys all) runners and asked a general question on their forum to try establish what the problem was (I thought maybe it was a map bug)? The answers I received were that it was either 1) it was Lag or a that 2) this is a rare technical issue . So anyone know 1) what the problem is ? 2) What the fix is or how to avoid it ? -onic 0 Posted February 14, 2003 I was playing a standard US soldier - i had taken a HK from a body , there was no 3rd view on this server but when I lay down I could see the stinger tube just at the top of my screen and aslo I could see its shadow cast .When I say I tried to shoulder the weapon I mean that when i click the acion button (middlemouse button ) I found thatr there was no option to arm myself with the AA weapon , the only options I had where to put the HK on my back , drop it or reload it .I had binocular also but i could not seem to see those either? killswitch 19 Posted March 10, 2003 I'll just bump this by saying that I have seen this, too. Happened last night during a MP Co-op game using the BAS Deltas on the Zeus Addon server. Animalmother (you lurking here ?) was going to toast a menacing BMP when he suddenly no longer was able to shoulder and use the AT4 launcher. So... it seems to happen from time to time. Wasn't monitoring the server (with #monitor) at the time, so I cant tell if the server was overloaded, nor was anyone lagged out, to my knowlegde. Beats me what it is...
