I need help with ....

Me and i friend have been making a MASSIVE Coop map it is good but when you die your dead and when your squady's die there dead .... So i don't excualy want to do a respawn script as they are easy to get but Since it is a guerilla war fighting map is it possible to make The people who died take over AI civillans who you have freeed or is there away to make civilian AI join your group when you are short of members and yo uare near also i want to know how to make spetnatz para down on each town you attack when you attack it . Sorry for being such a scripting N00B

You can not choose person to spawn in. There are several types of respawn but none fits your criteria.

juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust a second here.....

I might not be the biggest editing hotshot, and I don't mean to be waking false hopes, but isn't there a way to have "in-squad"-respawning?

Meaning: When you die you spawn into any left-over AI on your squad?

And isn't there a way to add new ppl to your squad after they have a certain condition (something with the "Follow" command).

Now if those two are possible, there should be a way to combine these, shouldn't it?

Maybe some1 whos better in those things can write something about it.

You are thinking of adding members to your team through [newMember] join myMan;

first, they(he) would have to join your team before you actually get killed. Second, I have been playing with "SIDE" respawn and even with my side having upwards of 60 available units to spawn into, after a while I become a seagull. (I use createUnit/vehicle maybe that's why)

Not sure how this would work with a "GROUP" respawn. smile.gif Give it a whirl by counting the members in your team and using the join command...

OK, i can confirm that GROUP respawn into new

(joining) groupmembers works.

What i can't confirm is: if you can use this as a workaround

to respawn into civi units.

Probably this could lead you into a game-crash, because

of a side conflict.

As i said, i can't confirm this, so you need to try it out.

Two ways, how to set this up:

1) create your group (e.g: US soldiers)

have some civi's left (to join this group, once it's been

reduced by kills)

use respawn "GROUP"

This is the method where i assume it could lead into a crash,

because the original side of the civi's is civilian

2) create your group (e.g: US soldiers)

have some civi's left (already grouped to a west leader)

again respawn "GROUP"

This could be the method, where the civi's already startin

on SIDE west (to avoid the side conflict).
