Luft08 27 Posted March 7, 2020 (edited) I have been trying to get a dedicated server to run on the same PC that I play on so that I can test missions I am creating as a non-server. I'm getting close. The server starts and displays a list of missions and allows me to vote. It then places me in a lobby where I choose the slot I wish to play. Then is appears to load the mission but instead of starting it bounces me back into the voting screen with no error message. Also the server window shows the message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWorlds.gm_weferlingen_summer'. I did copy the GM folder from my client to the dedicated server but no joy. Does anyone know what could be happening? Thanks. Edited March 7, 2020 by Luft08 Additional information
Luft08 27 Posted March 7, 2020 Fixed it! I'm not sure what was going on but I was trying to create the config_server.cfg file by hand. I downloaded the TADST utility and it was a piece of cake getting the server up and running.
drdetroit 77 Posted April 6, 2020 Just an FYI: You can just host the scenario in MP using the Arma 3 MP tab. This is how I play test my MP scenarios, I get my buddies to jump in this way too. Runs just fine. Way less system overhead used this way on your box, instead of TADST. Good day! DrDetroit
