rumpshaker007 0 Posted December 5, 2001 when clicking on the various servers found by the all-seeing eye, I always seem to enter somewhere where people are already busy playing. Isn't there a way to distinguish the 'playing' and 'waiting' servers?
tlx 0 Posted December 5, 2001 Of coz. It has the views 'waiting for players' and 'game in progress' for it. Forgot to mention: Press the "Refresh" button (Edited by tlx at 9:08 pm on Dec. 5, 2001)
Dawdler 0 Posted December 6, 2001 Never seem to be correct for me. The easiest way is just to pick one, if the time is >20 mins, wait (and do NOT start talking alot), if the time is <10 mins, find another. If it something in between its your choice.
Bucko 0 Posted December 6, 2001 I usually open the unknown folder and surf the ones with lowest pings. With 1.30 and 300 ping filters on. Has the search changed in the last week or so? My buddies ISP changed and now the server doesn’t pick him up on refresh. Now we have to host a game on the all Seeing Eye by using the HOST button.
tlx 0 Posted December 8, 2001 Dawdler, works fine for me. Only using dedicated servers (ASE 1.6.3)
