so, when the season rolls over?

We're 16ish days from the end of Season 1. I just started playing like two weeks ago.

 

Obviously my level will reset to 1, cool.

 

What about my Crowns and my Shelter? Do we know what will happen to those? Should I be saving up my crowns in anticipation of buying the Season 2 Battle Pass, or should I smoke'em if I've got'em because they're going away? Should I bother with building up my Shelter, or do you think some event will happen at the start of Season 2 that will cause us to move on to a new one?

Only your battle pass will go away....everything else will still be there.  So build as you please and horde your crowns if you want.  "Season 2" has no definite start date anyway.

Haha no the only thing to my knowledge rolling over in season 2 would be good donations for the bonus supply drop crates. Only time shelter progress reset was back in the game preview version rolling on to full release version. You’ll be fine to keep building and in fact I’d recommend building as much as possible to help you progress in the next season pass if there is one (especially food production!). Crowns are also handy to keep aside for a particularly good looking lobby but not essential to hoard I go in with a good gun and only boost when it’s a scrub lobby of pistols or something equally bad 🙂
