Teevor 0 Posted November 25, 2001 Hi, I was trying to make a mission a while ago, not too complicated, and I can here for trigger help. Well the advice never really worked at all. So I went back to the tutorial which is in hte flashpoint readme (which I never did) for the editor. I put down all the triggers just how it told me to, and when I had killed all the americans, nothing happened. I am angry! Does anyone know if perhaps some of the info in the tutorial is outdated or somthing? are there any errors? if not, could someone please look at my mission and tell me what's wrong? thanks. ScreamingWithNoSound 0 Posted November 25, 2001 Hiya, Did you put down all the triggers _exactly_ how it said in the tutorial? If so, you also need to destroy the US truck to complete the mission. (three hand grenades/two GL grenades should do it) Also, if you're having Trouble with Triggers (ooohh, alliteration!), go with the simple one - change the sniper for a LAW soldier and blow up the UAZ... that's how I checked I'd got the idea right... How about... creating the mission again from scratch... going through the tutorial extra carefully, then saving it as something else. If you get it to work second time, go back and forth between the two and find out what you missed. Teevor 0 Posted November 25, 2001 I will try making it again. As for destroying the truck completely, I did do that. I also changed for a RPG and even a shilka to see if it was totally destroyed. ufo_hk 1 Posted November 25, 2001 The tutorial has an error in it: in some places it refers to a name "sy" and elsewhere it refers to "aP". Change the names so they read the same eg change names "sy" to "aP" and it should work. Ie there is a mismatch between the End1 trigger (where they check to see the player is still alive) and the name given to the player when palcing objects.
