How to get a preview of placeable Objects (.p3d) in Terrain Editor before placing them?

Hi,

 

Is there an easy way to see btw. get a preview pic of placeable obejcts in Terrain Editor?

 

The Problem is, in TE you only got a list of them without any quick preview and you have to place them in the world first before you can see them. It so time consuming to insert every Object in the world, just to see what it is looking like.

 

I thought, "hey i just open the .p3d files in ObejctEditor to get a quick preview of them", but OE does not show you previews of binarized files.

 

Any good idea for me? (without using EDEN) thx

You can't preview objects in Terrain Builder or Bulldozer (only by placing it). Your best option is object placement tool which is an in game tool https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1242712395

 

Or x-cam / eden

Or place the object as proxy in OB and view it in OB buldozer. Other than that there are not fast ways to do it.
