ErrorMessage: Include file a3\functions_f\Params\paramDaytimeHour.inc not found.

Well this is a new one for me, if I am logged into my server as admin and type #missions the server will crash and show this error. Did I miss an update or something?

any one have an idea?

Is #missions no longer a command?

Have you verified the integrity the local files of the server?

You cannot #include from description.ext anymore. BI broke that with the 3DEN update and never fixed it.

Not related to game files.

looking at your RPT.

You have TONS of script and config errors in there. Maybe you should fix these?

Also why are you loading CBA twice??

Yes, I've checked files, I tried even with no mods, stock missions, still get the crash while typing #missions

Have no idea why I can't figure it out for the life of me lol

Did you read what I wrote? I told you what's wrong.

Read again. One of your missions has a #include in their description.ext

Yes I read what you wrote, I've used the same missions I've used for years, they have #include in them yes, but they have always had #include in them, even 6 months ago missions with #include in the description worked fine with #missions typed, this is not the reason for #missions not working, this has only started to happen since version 1.84, and like I said it happens with missions that don't have #include in the descripotion.ext as well :eh:

So saying again weather the mission contains #include in the description or not, logged in as admin and typing #missions causes the server to crash regardless of which mission is used.

Now this is going to blow your mind, I didn't change anything in my server config, or the mission and now I just tried to log in to 2 of my servers and type #missions now works as it did before!. Go figure. :don11:

Yes. But it DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE. Also it's only external #include's like your error message showed. Internals are fine.

Doesn't matter what mission. As long as a single mission is in your mission folder with that defect, it will kill the server.

No one ever said you'd have to.

You have me confused with the internal and external #include can you provide a link to more detail?

I only had one mission in the folder, it didn't contain any #include

No one said I had to change anything, so why would the #mission command now work since nothing serverside was changed? however the #mission command now works... meaning it fixed itself. :don8:

No I don't know of any website talking about it.
Basically
#include "file.hpp" of a file that's in same directory is internal include.
#include "\a3\characters_f\params.hpp" anything that starts with \ or a path that is not in the same directory as the description.ext is a external include.
And these external ones are broken since 3DEN.

Right on, i'll keep that in mind, but for now the error is gone, and #missions is working so maybe it was just a glitch, or my server perhaps just needed a restart as it was a brand new machine and a fresh install of everything. :don11:
