[email protected] 0 Posted December 8, 2002 Can anyone explain why when you put in an IP address in the reportingIP does it default back to gamespy's server? I want this port open for personal use with a program I created to query the status of the server, but I do not want it posting the information to gamespy's server. Any information that anyone can provide on this option would be greatly appreciated!
Mister Frag 0 Posted December 9, 2002 You can turn it off by using an empty string: reportingIP=""; Also, make sure you include the semicolon at the end of the line.

I believe it was changed like that in 1.90 for reasons I dont know
[email protected] 0 Posted December 9, 2002 Thank you both for your replies. Â I've written yet another program that responds to the specific port the server tries to send status to. Â This has made my day as I can now still query the server for the stats and it sends me the status as it changes on the server.
hugo2020 0 Posted December 11, 2002 Hi, another question, how to use 1.82 - Improved: MP: Minimal error to send updates across network can be now adjusted by MinErrorToSend value in Flashpoint.cfg. Default value is 0.01. Using smaller value can make units observed by binoculars or sniper rifle to move smoother. Is there a flashpoint.cfg on server?
