Renagade 0 Posted December 7, 2002 At last i got the acces to choppers in GTA:vice city and they are quite fun to play around with. The left analogue stick controls the tilt and the right analogue controls the throttle and tail rotor meaning its nice and easy to manouvere now all i need to do is find a ps2 pad converter and some software to try and use it on my pc unlike using a joystick which i cant configure properly due to OFP`s dodgy control configuration
Badgerboy 0 Posted December 7, 2002 It's unrealistic as it is. Doing that would make it more so. If you buy a proper heli sim, you will see how hard it is....
Renagade 0 Posted December 7, 2002 I wasn`t commenting on how realistic the choppers in vice city were but more on how they were controlled. How`d u think R\C choppers are controlled ?? Can u recommend any good chopper sims asides OFP and FS2002 ?
Badgerboy 0 Posted December 7, 2002 Longbow 2 is rather good. My favourite is Commanche Vs Hokum. (You can't beat helicopters with ejector seats! Fly those then you have, collective, rpm, rotor dish, tail rotor, and windscreen washer controls.... Great fun
FSPilot 0 Posted December 7, 2002 X-plane is an underground sim said to be one of the most realistic. http://x-plane.com/

FSPilot 0 Posted December 8, 2002 It's pretty hard on the PC, but it's a GREAT sim.
