Wow another stupid question

Yeah, i just downloaded a artillery barrage script and i was wondering how to install it.

If it didn't come with any documentation (readme.txt etc.) then have a look at the place where you downloaded it from - they might have usage instruction...

BTW, if you know the name of the author, post it here - never know, the author might be floating around here

Huh - there's a readme with that program, i'd better

go for reading it, maybe there's something interresting

inside, telling me how to install that program.

No really;

you should:

a) look for a readme file

b) look, where you've downloaded your script, wether

there's some more information, how to use your

script

c) post the whole script (if a or b doesn't help)

d) start thinking about: a script is nothing to be installed,

rather it's an external file, which you can execute out

of OFP (expecting you're using the included mission editor)

e) go for some tutorials (if you really want to know how

to use scripts)

(e) can be done best at: http://www.ofpec.com

at their editors depot

f) close the window and turn on the heater (it will become

very cold this winter)

get hold of a folder called somthing.eden or somthing.cain, somthing.intro and their is another dot somthing, but i cant remember it!

Go to ofp/users/your name/missions and put it there.

start up ofp and go to the mission edittor.

If you don't know what island its on just select any

when the edittor loads up go through the different islands still you find the correct file name and load it!

If its somthing.eden it will be everon, if its *.intro it'll be desert island, and *.cain is one of the other islands!
