Harnu 0 Posted December 2, 2002 I went into my OFP Preferences, went to voice setup. But I cant set it up! It says it's testing the hardware. Then it stops and says "Your hardware cannot play sounds" "Contact your vendor for more information". I've never had this problem before. System is Pentium IV 512 RAM Geforce 2 MX/MX Like any of that matters when dealing with sound, but you guys always ask for it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

BushArse 0 Posted December 3, 2002 Start -> Setting -> Ctrl panel -> Sounds and Audio -> Speakers settings -> Advanced -> Notch it down to 3 instead of 4 ^^^^^ XP ^^^^^ Start -> Settings -> Ctrl Panel -> Sounds and multimedia -> then Audio tab -> Advanced on sound play back -> notch down to 3 instead of 4 ^^^^ 2000 ^^^^^ If you have 95/98/ME it will be similar if you have 3.11 its about time for an upgrade Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
