gingerlikeme 6 Posted December 2, 2017 Hi all, I don't have L3DT as I'm not that advanced. I just imported my terrain and all of it is above sea. How do you move it down to make the sea appear. Please be detailed as I get as far as the terrain properties and come stuck. RoF 240 Posted December 4, 2017 Use L3DT, they do a free trial and its great for sorting out your seabed. In TB do, file> export> terrain. save it In L3DT> file> import> heightfield and imported the file you saved above. Then choose Operations> Heightfield> Change Vertical range> And change the Average Altitude for where you want sea level. File> Export> Active Map Layer> Chose ASC in file format and save. Back to TB. Delete you heightmap in rasters. Then File> Import> Terrain, pick file saved from L3DT. Right click it in Rasters and make sure its correct coords!!! L3DT defaults to 0.0 and not 200000 0. Go to your map samplers (where you export layers) and choose "rebuild terrain" and its done!

gingerlikeme 6 Posted December 19, 2017 Sorry for slow reply. This doesn't seem to work. How do you do it with the terrain properties tab? Kind Regards, Harry
