Razor1 0 Posted December 4, 2001 I'm trying to do a complicated tank patrol and I want it to keep cycling through it. Â I have about a dozen move waypoints and the last one is cycle. Â Tank just stops at the last waypoint. Â I've been able to make it work for 2 or 3 waypoints but its always hit and miss. Â Help!
russin 0 Posted December 4, 2001 put last waypoint as cycle and put it where the unit's or unit starts works for me
Razor1 0 Posted December 4, 2001 Thanks. That was simple enough.
suma 8 Posted December 4, 2001 The "Cycle" waypoint cycles to the nearest waypoint from the place where "Cycle" is placed. Note: all groups have default waypoint created on their initial position.
Chris Death 0 Posted December 4, 2001 I just wanna tell you, if you don't know (except SUMA), if you finally want to break the cycle of waypoints, it can be easily done too: Add a trigger with type switch, condition (how ya want) and sync (F5) it with the cycle waypoint. This causes, that when the trigger is activated, the unit or group which is doing the cycle, will move to the next waypoint, you placed after the cycle waypoint. Example: wp1=move, wp2=move, wp3=cycle, wp4=seek&destroy - this means the unit/group is doing the cycle from wp1,2,3 until the trigger is activated, and then it will change to wp4 (even if it isn't through all waypoints yet)
