WuDu 0 Posted November 29, 2002 Yeah... we just want our own 1.90... that's all... OFP FANS support us! PLEASE!
bn880 5 Posted November 29, 2002 You have my support, I don't think Polish players should have to wait months for their versions of OFP. Maybe a week or two I understand. (translation etc.) Maybe you have to become more English and just use the UK version. I thought everything English was popular in Poland.
ralphwiggum 6 Posted November 29, 2002 i support it too. However, Polish OFP players are not only one left in dark. Japanese and Korean (and possibly Chinese) players can't even chat using OFPR with their language. I think I saw one of Japanese member here asking BIS to just let them be able to chat in their language. the problem with them is that their language structure, and how Windows implements them is a bit different. I never used Polish version, but I hope the situation is resolved.
Golabek 0 Posted November 29, 2002 Bn880 - there is a way... But we do not want to become pirates... We paid for our original games so i see no point in playing cheat on BIS - to be honest - i think that OFP is worth all money I spent on it!!!! Apart from that patch... PS. What is so complicated in PL version? Is it translating? I can do it FREE OFF CHARGE if it changes anything!!! Just contact me on ICQ - no. 169203494
.40S&W 0 Posted November 29, 2002 For the love of God, BIS/CENEGA have mercy!!!! There are so many places 'd love to visit, like Ia Trang Valley, Nogojev during the winter...
Olaf 0 Posted November 30, 2002 BIS you must help Polish OFP fans! Olafus - Czech Storm Fighters www.czstorm.com
algrab 1 Posted November 30, 2002 Well it should not matter what language you speak. I have bought the game, I have become a customer (let's say this is PL version). The producer/publisher brings me to level where I'm unable to use - at least - the MP part of product (no Polish 1.90 patch) on equal condition comparing to other users (US/EU) - "well give me back, let's say, 80% of the sum spent on the game!" If anybody cares, this might get serious in terms of market rules and maybie what the law says 'bout relation customer-producer. I have a right to use the product and enjoy any updates of it, if not - sorry folks that's sth wrong here! Change the rules/procedures of 'updates strategy' or whaterver it is to change, because we customers need it and if we do - SO DO YOU (to whomever it might concern)
bn880 5 Posted November 30, 2002 How do you all expect support, look at your post counts. (I'm just kidding of course) Hopefully there will be some explanation from BIS if the topic stays alive without too much flaming.
algrab 1 Posted November 30, 2002 And the question is who flames who as a matter of fact. This is not about putting anybody down, this is just to encourage some changes, a different way of thinking maybie ? OFP is a great game, with fantastic flexible possibilities it offers, why can't all the aspects around the OFP be just normal (if not exciting) ? Where do you think Polish players are? Urugwai? Libia? (no offence) Well, remeber: we are closer than you think

I don't know where Polishland is, somewhere in southern Israel, or was it Africa? Edit: Yeah, sorry, I get carried away.

I hope that all OFP players enjoy OFPR to fullest extent.
Czacha 0 Posted November 30, 2002 Does the 'MP' category of this forum is good place for this topic? It's nice to hear that someone from BIS is interesting about this case.
