Is it possible to change Eden editor shortcuts?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

is it possible to change shortcuts like View > Interface > Entity List (E) in Eden? I'm using a non standard layout and some of the shortcuts in Eden stop me from being able to move around in the 3d perspective etc. Unfortunately I couldn't find those shortcuts in the Controls section :(

You can try this @EdenKeybinds, not completely finished and as such has some binds that do not work, although was enough for me to move some of the most blocking keys as an ESDF user. I have not updated it to include some of the recent changes and untested with other Eden mods so mileage may vary.

Place the folder from the zip in your Arma directory. Make sure you run Arma with this mod enabled. In Eden goto settings > Eden Keybinds.

I understand your frustration well :smile_o:. As an ESDF user some of the hard bound keys in Eden make swapping between playing and editing a frustrating experience. Being able to move the panel keys (Q,E) and the center on selected entity (F) is an absolute god send, plus being able to set a key for 'play in MP'.

If you find any binds that do not work and feel like helping, please post them up here so I know what binds to look at fixing.

I wrote a ticket at BI feedback tracker for a while, because as left handed, I'm always using the arrow keys for movement.

1. editor camera: even modified in control settings, the arrow keys are not operative. I must Z,Q,D,S....

2: splendid camera: arrow keys are modifying the other settings (focus, aperture, brightness,...). Just because these arrows are also used for scrolling, setting the menu.
