GTRedskin 0 Posted November 26, 2002 cant seem to get the music to fade in the intro.i need music to only play for a short time not the entire track.ive searched the forum for topics on this but no luck on music fade.is there a tuturial or site that explains how to do this ? cmon all you experts please help out an upcomming mission designer and his hard working crew. thanks ......Redskin Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
bn880 5 Posted November 26, 2002 Music fade? seconds fadeMusic amount; seconds is a number in seconds for how long the transition to your amount of fade will be. Fade to 0 is no music, fade to 1 is loudest music, fade to 0.5 is medium. 60 fadeMusic 0.2 would fade your music to 20% of possible volume after 60 seconds (1min) BTW: !!! fadeMusic no longer fades out the hint ping !!! GTRedskin 0 Posted November 26, 2002 thanks for the quick responce,however how is this written script wise or is the music track edited in the intro by the author by cutting the track short,what html syntaxs do you need in the description.ext file? RED 0 Posted November 26, 2002 You use the fademusic command in either a script, waypoint or trigger. You don't need to modify the description.ext to use it.
