anfo 118 Posted August 12, 2017 If this has already been discussed, then please ignore and reference. Does anybody find it annoying to have to open Arma 3, then the map, then the mission? Especially when you have to do it 100 times when editing a mission? It sort of seems inefficient to me. I reckon what would be advantageous to a mission maker is the ability to save an Eden "project" file, that produces a shortcut that can be placed on the desktop or wherever. When the project file is opened, Arma 3 opens straight up to the working map, mission with correct mods loaded (if applicable). Plus of course when changes are made to the mission the project file either has to be re saved, or updates automatically. Just like video editing suites might use? Would love to hear feedback or even a solution if it exists!
R3vo 2654 Posted September 8, 2017 If you use the arma 3 launcher you can use the startup parameter Mission file (Editor) where you input your path to the mission.sqm. Then just create a profile which contains all mods for that mission and there you go. You can start the game direcly in the editor with your mission loaded.
