jw custom 56 Posted May 10, 2017 So i haven't been playing for a long time but now that i've upgraded my computer i wanted to play a little, but ArmA won't start it just hang and i have to terminate arma3_x64.exe or arma3.exe from the taskmanager. My system specs are: CPU: i7-7700K MOBO: ASUS Strix Z270H Gaming RAM: 16gb Corsair Vengeance 3600mhz GFX: MSI GTX 1080ti OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 I have tried: Updating gfx drivers Downgrading gfx drivers Both 32bit and 64bit executables Disable antivirus program Uninstall antivirus program Disable Steam overlay Disable firewall Turned off UAC Disable BattleEye Doing a integrity check of game files Setting my screen resolution to 1080p Opt in and out of dev build Game is running clean without any 3rd party mods and is completely new installed. Super_Darly 0 Posted May 11, 2017 (edited) Same issue as you man. Was able to play before last update, after update it won't get past the Arma 3 logo screen. Game just hangs with black screen and have to terminate. I7-2600k Asus AMD 480 4GB 16GB Ram Win 7x64 ultimate I've tried everything you have including uninstalling and downloading the game again. BroBeans. 279 Posted May 12, 2017 try verifying game cache and give the game adequate time to start up. Arma can be pretty slow. If you still run into issues please post your rpts here. Also make sure you try to run without mods initially. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Super_Darly 0 Posted May 18, 2017 (edited) I'm still having the same issue. Uninstalled my onboard mobo graphics, disabled device. Deleted arma .cfg file so it starts up a new one, no mods, no parameters. Still just get a black screen after the Arma logo and a not responding .exe in the task manager. I don't even get an error message.
