Feige Sau 1 Posted April 11, 2017 Hi! Got into online gaming a few years ago and just realised why my aiming sucks. Had the sensitivity too high; only playing from the wrist, not the arm. Starting to reconfigure and relearn it all. But this time i want to get it right from the start. So here is some questions. When tracking enemy movement; do you only use your arm or your arm plus your wrist? When do you use your wrist only, when your arm only and when both to aim? Is it better to have high sensitivity and low dpi or vice versa? Only got 22 inches of space for my mouse to move from left to right. Is this enough? Should i just adjust sensitivity so i can do a 360 from left margin of mouse pad to right margin and then practice with that in every game and never change again. Or do i have to get another desk solution so i have more space and can use even lower sensitivity?

Midnighters 152 Posted May 4, 2017 Wow 22 inches? I have the width of my mouse pad of space since my desk has many pencil holders, so i flip around my wrist. Make sure not to constrain the upper half of your arm otherwise it may cramp or you may give yourself carpal tunnel in the most extremeties of cases.
Venger_ 1 Posted May 6, 2017 One thing I would advise it to not try to mimic others styles because what might work for others might not work for you. Do it however you feel more comfortable and what works best for you. I tend to use whatever parts of my arm are needed in that given moment, be it just a slight wrist movement, or the entire arm. I don't think about it. I just go with whatever feels right and works best. Good luck!
Grumpy Old Man 3546 Posted May 7, 2017 The area I'm moving my mouse in is roughly 1.2 times the size of the mouse. To each their own I guess. Cheers
