Recommended Posts

Looking very good! Do you have some pics of the prowler?

Not at the moment maybe in another week or so, if I'm luckly to get some more free time.

Update!

Have located the master plan files for the second generation model 4 days ago and using these to make the models(A-6E and EA-6E plus a few other version of the A-6's) with.

Been talking with Col. Klink about using a few of his scripts (awaiting reply), for things like advanced wing feature beyond my folding wing, airbrake and bombing scripts.

Topic Update;

Currently modeling;

Cockpit (with correct seat placement)

Cockpit ladders/footholes (this includes mounting location, so if ladder is down you can enter craft, if up you can't. be interested in feedback on this)

Tailhook

Leading wing edge

Airbrakes (wing and body)

Folding wings (as per the second beta, see past topic notes)

And setting up the base for the EA-6E Prowler.

Hope this ties everyone over till next update.

Hate to say it, but I've been unable to get back the orginal backup copy of this addon and not having time to start over again due to another project, don't see it being made.

Maybe Col Klink might finish it as has has an copy of the orginal backup too.

Sorry.

Well I'm think of redoing the EA-6E and the A-6's in ArmA. So you may still see them come to life, with the same lvl of detail and scripting as before if not better.

But I'm not going to set a fix'd date for this as I'll have to rebuild the model's from the ground up and update the CPP'

s to include new ArmA features, but all should go well.

Next addon without a release for OFP?  confused_o.gif

It should be able to be used in OFP:R with the current CCP setup and an new model for both OFP:R and ArmA.

But ArmA's version would take advantage of the new script and addon features (once I get upto date with them all).

Quick question to anyone that had the second beta addon, can you please post if anyone still has it, if so I'll try to get it off you. This would speed up the progress of this addon being release for both OFP:R and ArmA, and the development of the EA-6B Prowler.

I've managed to locate all the referance material, and the very first version of the Intruder that never made it to beta stage.

Looking forward to a positive reply  notworthy.gif

To those that are interest the A-6E project has be restarted. I plan to include at full release to include both the A-6E and the EA-6E, along with all the weapons from before. Note the ArmA version will include the undernose Laser turrent/scope and other features.

I look forward to any input on this. The OFP versions will be release first due to the lower amount of features.

welcome.gif Great news Dragofire! yay.gif

Always good to hear that OFP hasn't been lost on all, and it's good to hear that projects come to a conclusion! thumbs-up.gif

If I get the time over the next few days I might be able to provide the stage 2 beta Intruders, these include bomb loads of MK82-84 and a few combo's mixing hvy rocket pods with bombs.

Luckly while digging up my referance files and images I found these models and was able to make up a PBO file of @39mb(@3mb RAR'd). You'll have to remember the cockpit wasn't finished, but had gauges and the basic layout done.
