Disabling Map Showing Player Location

I am working on a survival mission and need a way to disable the map showing the exact location of the player.

Elite difficulty setting should do it automatically. Means your guys need to learn map reading, navigation by landmarks, and you can't instantly spot bad guys on the map by just opening it. :)
