Konyak-2 0 Posted July 15, 2002 I don't have any original models to study, so I can't see how they make the floors in houses so solid. Â If you climb into the attick of a house, you can crouch and crawl around on the floor no problem. Â But if you make a ladder up onto a box, that has a roadway lod for it's top, you can walk on it, with a little shakiness, but if you go prone, you find yourself on the ground pretty fast. Does anyone know the trick to make solid floors?? Â Do you have to tesselate the floorshape to give more vertices to calculate collision from?? Could the problem lie in the .cpp where you define classes for buildings and such?? Really appreciate any help here.. Konyak
colonel_klink 0 Posted July 15, 2002 Got a similar problem mate. try raising the roadway lod just above the models roof. It might help. My guys walk all right over the roof of my blockhouse, but ly down and somebody has turned on a full body vibrator:). Fun to watch but you can't shoot anything accurately.
