'set face' for mlod models?

Is it posiible to make a unit in O2 which uses the SetFace command so you can change the face in game?, the demo models all need to have their faces individualy mapped which means you need a model for each soldier in a squad, which is to be honest a pain in the ass! Is there a way to create a group simular to a wound group which allows use of ingame custom faces like the ODOL models use?

Im not sure what this SetFace command does, or how the wound stuff works. But to I've got a similar solution that might be of some interest for you. You could use the hidden selection thing if you just wanna use one model for two different addons.

You could copy and paste the faces/parts whith are suppost to have different textures assigned, and add them to different selections which you can hide in the config.cpp then. I hope you got the point of this.

Hmm intereseting, i but im not sure that thats how its done in the game, i think the samw way it swaps textures for wounds is how its done, like the vertex groups you make to assign a wound texture, but i dont think the demo models had a group for these.
