Fanstastic new property in resistance objects

Here's a cool experiment you can do in Resistance...

Go to the airfield in the West side of the island. Bring a rocket launcher.

Try shooting through the tin metal sheds. Notice your bullets pass right through.

Now shoot a rocket at it, NOT TOO CLOSE! Notice your rocket is stopped!

BIS has added some new properties to these corrugated tin walls to let bullets shoot through but rockets and grenades explode on them! THis is a great new ability of the engine and would really boost the realism of our addons.

THink of it... Lightly armored choppers and cars with certain sections that let bullets pass through them (such as the side doors and floors) to hit the people inside. However, shoot a RPG at them, and BOOM!

If it is a property that can truly be applied to specific sections, then the engine block can be made to stop bullets while other sections let them penetrate through. Hit locations would take on a whole new meaning in OPF for lightly armored vehicles!

Lets try to figure out how to duplicate the work done on those resistance airport hangars.

do you mean the hangars? well i tried hiding behind the edge of the hangar door, but AI shot the bullet right through it at me. I dont think that is realistic, do you?

with the connfig you can assign how much armor every part of the hit points has and if a bullet passes tru it

It cant be. The walls are at least 10 inches thick, for a hangar in real life.
