Rambi 0 Posted November 4, 2002 Ok its alrdy a while ago since i gained this problem.. It began when i bought a new pc.. Its a 1900 XP AMD 512 ddr Ram 128 mb ddr Geforce 4 4200 60 gig HD 7200 rpm OS Win - me When i installed ofp and ofp Recistance on this new pc (Not counterfeit) And i started it up with sound on.. And begain the campaign i was ctd`d to desktop.. in the first cutscene and when i disable sound i dont CTD.. can any 1 help me out pls? greetz peter Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Mister Frag 0 Posted November 5, 2002 Try making OFP less demanding of the sound hardware by turning off EAX, Hardware Acceleration, and Play all Voices. If OFP doesn't crash in that configuration, start adding these features back one-by-one (starting with Hardware Acceleration). Also, try running all of the tests on the Sound tab in DXDIAG.
