[SOLVED] Problems while attempting to pack with CUP

Recommended Posts

Hello,

While attempting to use pboProject to create package my map, I have run into a few problems I would like some assistance with.

When attempting to pack I recieve this error within the output(s) file:

s_satout_co.paa
environment.hpp : ignored or merged
sosopol.hpp : ignored or merged
sosopol.wrp scanning wrp
 checking for missing files...
In File \cup_terrains_ca_misc\config.bin: invalid file
ERROR: \cup_terrains_ca_misc\config.bin is faulty
The addon name for \cup_terrains_ca_misc\bilboard_pizza_presto.p3d cannot be determined

------------------------------------------------------------------------

And in the CMD Console I recieve this:

        <Bis Binarise...>
        </Bis binarise>
        stripping the binlog

MakePbo x64UnicodeVersion 1.92, Dll 5.52 "sosopol"

pbo: reqaddons. could not find a cfgpatches class for wrp file refs

makepbo failed

------------------------------------------------------------------------

As far as I am aware I have set up the addons currectly when extracting them from their respective .PBO files, Below is an image link showing the P Drive:

https://gyazo.com/49e7217bf5869c177fb08c31b6d1d488

I have re-downloaded the file, twice, and attempted to fix the problem by replacing them with freshly extracted files, but to no avail.

Any help is much appreciated.

Best Regards,

Harry K

You have extracted them wrong, they should be a "ca" and "cup" folders.

If your just double clicking the pbo to extract them using extractpbo, it puts them as "filename\ca\etc". You want to move the ca folder to P:\. Sometimes they are called cup instead of ca, but its the same way, move it to P:\.

How would I go about extracting them properly? And thank you for the reply.

I did mine one by one! Sorted the folder by file type, then just used the arrows to move down the list, pressing enter on everyone. Then I searched for ca in the cup core folder and moved all them folders to P:\. Then did the same for the "cup" folders.

If you install extractpbo, it should set the file association automatically for you. I did try extracting the whole folder in the command line, but it bugged out.

Thank you, I managed to get it working, once you said extractpbo, i tried it, and it worked!
