ARMA 3 Apex no save?

I can't save games in SP have to start from scratch at every level and on completion the closing dialogue is incomplete and shows this message

 

'A3\Missions_F_Exp\Campaign\description.ext/Campaign/Missions.'

 

So what's wrong?

Well that's just silly or stingy or both! WHY? so what about the error message?

That's not only silly--it's just plain stupid. I'm getting sick and tired of having to restart and re-do what I've already done.

Yes! so the scenario is this, I'm half way through a section, has taken me the best part of an hour because I like to play cautious, suddenly have to go out for a few hours, can't leave the computer on because that is a hazard and fire risk.

 

So when I come back home and turn on again have to do the whole thing over again! which genius came up with this concept?  :huh:  :angry:
