problems with texture mask (may be noob question)

Dear Community,

This ist my first post and I hope that I am rigth here and don´t ask stupid stuff etc. ;)

I am trying to build a terrain - for the first time. At the moment I'm quite desperate about trying to texture the map.

After some testing, I realized, that my texture mask only works partly. I made this (yeah its huge sorry for that) screenshot of my problem:

(it shows the mask in gimp, the layers.cfg and the "final" "broken" location in bulldozer)

As you can see, there should be 5 different textures in a row. But for some reason, there are only the "sealevel" and "mud" textures in a strange shape.

I hope that somebody can help me as a newbie with mapmaking (and english writing^^).

I think you're exceeding the number of mask layers you can have per area, check your mapframes for sat/surface (mask) tiles, it's that area in meters plus your overlap, so example 512 x 512 + 32

What does your maplayers.png look like?

I think you're exceeding the number of mask layers you can have per area, check your mapframes for sat/surface (mask) tiles, it's that area in meters plus your overlap, so example 512 x 512 + 32

I´ll try it tomorow ;)
