[Answered] Repair scripts doesn't work on dedicated server (local works fine)

ANSWER: Triggers aren't executing properly if you create the mission with EDEN and launched from a dedicated server. Is Eden bug & [2] & [3] and works if you have the same in 2D editor.

Hi, i recently made a mission with a trigger associated to repair rearm and refuel script.

 

The scripts seems to work properly. In the editor preview work as well. If i export the mission to multiplayer and launch with play - multiplayer - new seems work too.

 

But when I made a server with TADST tool, doesn't work any repair script.

 

I try with 3 diferent scripts.

If i use scripts 1 and 2, i can repair refuel and rearm properly and the state (refueling, rearming, etc) appears in chat only in the editor preview or creating. Not if I launch the mission with TASDT.

 

If i use script 3 i only can acces to menu in the editor preview or creating. Not if I launch the server with TASDT.

 

All other scripts (VAS, earplugs, names and tags, etc.) works fine...

 

Anybody can help me?

Ran into this issue as well making missions with eden, if you remake the map in the old 2d editor it'll work like it should. It seems to be an issue with eden and dedicated servers.

Tommorrow i rewrite the mission and comment with the results.

I can confirm and prove. I made simple trigger mission.

 

Go to the Trigger - Hint "trigger is working" - Task completed

 

2D editor version works perfect creating from game or launching as server

 

Eden editor version works fine creating from game, but launching as server don't execute the hint

  • Triggers in multiplayer scenarios created in Eden Editor, may not trigger on clients.
  • Module attributes may reset when re-opening the attribute window.
  • Irregular aspect ratios may result in the User Interface not correctly responding to mouse input (e.g. drop-down menus).

I haven't tested this, but could you use [this && local player] to get around this?

I tested this && local player, does nothing. I know scripted triggers are also subject. I have a mission that spawns missions and some work and others do not.

 

 

Really need a fix for this fast.
