Ah possibly gen 5, from what I am told 3 is still in use. Also that image is from like 2006 while they trialed the mar-ciras-like vest for a short time... ergo it isnt really something used even remotely as commonly as the LHT stuff or Crye. Also you shouldnt speak of EGB as if they are the hand-me downs of bundeswehr.
