Changing the name of cars in a buy/sell menu

okay, I have changed the names of cars in the config folders, but when i start up a LAN server, the stuff i edited in the config file did not change on the server, And yes i did save the configs and repacked the addon. For example a instead of a car saying SUV, it says Tahoe when you see it in the menu. *For Arma 2 Island life

Sorry, but  no one will help you, because noone knows what you need helping with. Only information in your post is that you changed some names for some wehicles in some config folders. You have to be more specific. What config folders of what?  Config folders of arma? Config folders of LIFE mod? Config folders of some Vehicle addon?

 

There would be probably some kind of stringtable in the mod you changed. Did you change the names in the correct string in correct stringtable?

 

Are all the players connected using the same changed mod as you? do you have the changed mod on that server?

 

Do you have permission from the mod autor to change his mod?

 

If it is Life mod wouldnt it be better to ask on some kind of LIFE forums?
