privateydb 0 Posted December 15, 2001 i've read turorials and followed their advice,but i still can't get it to work,so can someone please answer my 3 questions?Please...for Christmas.Please.Please.Go on.. 1) What do I type in the init field to get a US or Russian flag on the flagpole? 2)How can I give radio commands to make other units join me e.g. air support? 3)How can I get messages from Papa Bear to me? vitoal125 0 Posted December 16, 2001 Okay, number 2 and 3 answers are: 2: make a trigger that is activated by Radio Alpha (under the side option). In the on activation field of this trigger type in [firesupport] join myname where firesupport is the name of the group of your air support and myname is the name you have given your player. 3: make a west infantry unit some place in the middle of nowhere where there is no chance he will be seen (you can make sure he doesnt die by typing in the init field this setcaptive true) and then just have a trigger that goes off whenever you want the order to be given and put in the on act field papabear sidechat "This is Papa Bear ...." where papabear is the name of that unit you placed and the text in quotes is the order you want given. Brass 0 Posted December 16, 2001 but you wont get it to TALK, unless you use the audio inside the game and from missions, or youll have to get some utils to record your voice and convert it and stuff. so basically, it will be text, and thats all. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
