Video:

Prolog:

To expand and supplement  my MLI (Marks, Labels and Insignia) mod I am working on a new mod which will provide the missing units for each faction.
The new MCLU_MLI_SOLDIERS shall include nearly all units of each faction with new textures and fictitious marks, labels and insignia.

It will help to identify the ground units, too.

Legend:
natoflagtgj9a571rh_thumb.jpg = NATO Insignia

natobifwz68yupo0x_thumb.jpg = NATO Subdued Patch

csatflagruypsaq85e_thumb.jpg = CSAT Insignia
csatbitspfh4oeuk_thumb.jpg = CSAT Subdued Patch

aafflagazjld03x6b_thumb.jpg = AAF Insignia
aafbiqy9f5cmhjz_thumb.jpg = AAF Subdued Patch

Plan:
Retexture of :

NATO – Units
CSAT – Units
AAF – Units

Standard:
Woodland camo
Desert camo
Multicam

Planned features:
Urban camos
Special Forces camos

The main goal of mine is to beware a more classical look, less futuristic.

Timeline:
Quality will take time - Because I want to do my best.
But I guess it will be finished and released at the end of 2015.

Infos:
I will keep you informed about the progress all time, with pictures or/and videos.

Epilog:
I'll try to realize suggestions and ideas.
But keep in mind -  too many requests can also interfere with my work.
If you have questions, or something is missing let me know. I'll support you as best I can.

Thanks for your attention that´s all for now.

Greetings
McLupo

Hi folks,

a promise is a promise, and promises are to be kept.  :)

I said I want to keep you up to date, so here is some new info about the ongoing progress.

For everyone who likes the Woodland BDU, like me,it is almost finished...for NATO.
Some pictures:

officer.jpg soldier0.jpg soldier-details.jpg eod-specialist.jpg medic-details.jpg

What to do next:
CSAT config. is nearly done, retexture pending.

A nice side effect will arises from the overall work, because I do not know any mod which brings together all factions, if I am not wrong.
Every beginner can learn from it, because he has a package of all factions and all content he needs.
  ;)

Have fun and stay curious!

Hi folks,

today I am happy to present the headway of my work in progress.

The NATO troops are almost ready, except for detailed work.

NATO-Camo:
Woodland camo (classical BDU)
Multicam (modern Pattern)
Desert camo (Tricolor)

Samples:

Woodland:

nato-eod-soldier-bdu.jpg

Desert:

soldier-desert.jpg desertnato.jpg

The config and the first troops for CSAT Units with woodland camo are ready.

I choosed a nice combination in modern "Digital Flora Camo" and the classical "VSR. camo".
The digital Flora are used for the combat suit and the VSR for the equipment.

It took a lot of time for searching and finding the needed paa´s for texturing.
Despite of all the difficulties, because the equipment lacked in order to reach the look like of the NATO troops,

I finished the woodland units and I tried my best to close the visual gap - hopefully?!

Samples:

Digital Flora and VSR:

soldier-repair.jpg backpack.jpg csat-officer.jpg csat-soldier-lite-and-rifleman.jpg harness-detail.jpg harness.jpg

A note to the BI-Devs:

Please improve the whole equipment (seperate harnesses, bandoliers, improved vests, holster, etc.) of the CSAT it will worth all the time you spent to it.  :)

But anyway, have fun and stay tuned for the next heads- up.

Greetings

New stuff is always nice to have and because I know how to do retextures I can understand that sometimes can be a little demanding and irritating. So I do want to thank you. I really don't like when others think stuff is simple to be made but they don't know how to do it themselves. Good luck and keep it going, if you need any help tell me.

Hi!

Just a side note:

Everyone who deals with an addon is familiar with the procedures - you test over and over again, to provide a faultless work.

Here I noticed once more how effective are the camouflage pattern.

The camouflage patterns are not just a gimmick, but have an effect. The picture shows this impressively.
The texturing is fun, but with a serious background and gives the player the option to select his troops depending on the terrain, too.

Have a look

Especially from a distance you can see the effect.

I wanted to say that... :D

Have fun!

Hello all!

Hello to my most loyal supporters, I want to reward you ... :)

Seriously, I thank you for your true interest and would like to give you the opportunity to choose a camouflage pattern for the AAF.
I am unsure which one would be the best outfit for this faction, but it should be a flecktarn.

Now it´s up to you...Which one would you prefer?

Woodland:

German Flecktarn

Danish Flecktarn

Desert:

German Wüstentarn

Thank you for your continued support.

Have fun!

Hi kendar,

I've already made my decision and you will like it... :)

I really like the AAF uniform above all in game

Hi Alex,

thanks alot.  :)

Will you make seperate replacement configs like one for nato one for AAF and so on?

Hi yevgeni89,

thanks for you inquiry. I am often asked for a replacement pack and I will do it later on.

At first I will finish the whole mod and after the release I will work on a replacement pack,

because at the moment, there is still a lack of knowledge to do it, but I will do it definitely.

Please pardon the inconvenience.  :)
