johnniewc68 0 Posted September 12, 2015 I share with you some pictures of aircraft applied with camouflage called Barclay. A question, does this camouflage was used operationally or only a test? To see the photos, please visit the link below. http://aviacaoemfloripa.blogspot.com.br/2011/01/camuflagens-barclay.html Best Regards.
spooky lynx 73 Posted September 12, 2015 Reminds some WW1-period naval camos. Didn't know it was used for planes much later though.
vilas 477 Posted September 12, 2015 such disruptive camo plus specially painted airfields make enemy think there is bombed destructed area below especially when WW2 optics and analog cameras were used plus naked eye similary exotic camo (totally silly looking) was tested by Polish army in 1970, a banana colors similar to todays green-spring multicam , on photo it looks silly but when i simulated it in Arma, it works like multicam http://pu.i.wp.pl/?k=MTE2ODc5NDEsMzIzNDcw&f=p367.JPGfrom far distance (not from near, but from very far, because from near distance it is very eye-hiting, but from far away it is perfect , which made it to be rejected - noone needs such 1-conditions camo (except todays desert-designed camos) or some Asian/African camos designed to their soil color which we see "red, pink, wtf" )
